Artists Impressions _2007

The word 'impression' could be defined as a lasting
effect, opinion, or mental image. Artist's impressions
are visual devices that hover between concept and
reality. These structures are sketches that simulate
presence, combining the past with the present and
attempt to indicate what may materalise in the future.
This image forms part of a project with the Woolwich
Psychogeographical Association and in conjunction
with a research paper presented at 'Image & Narrative',
Department of History, Goldsmiths, University of London.
